To date more than 150 million people have participated worldwide.
“Hour of Code is a great initiative that operates under the belief that everyone should have the opportunity to learn computer science,” said Nancy Binowski, Information Technologies chair at the County College of Morris. “Part of the goal is to expand access to underrepresented groups of students, something we at CCM have taken seriously with our Women in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) initiative.”
All are welcome to attend the Hour of Code on the county college’s Randolph Township campus, located at 214 Center Grove Road from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Emeriti Hall, Room 210 on Thursday, Dec. 1.
