She’s back on the road solo at the end of the month before rejoining Clark in September. Her next EP is set to drop late this year, and our money says she’s about to make the transition from young upstart to rising star. Literary Libations Week. The second annual week of book-themed booze at local bars and restaurants has returned to support the Texas Book Festival and its off-site Lit Crawl Austin, an evening the fest calls “literary shenanigans.” A portion of each drink sale will go toward keeping the Lit Crawl free and open to anyone who wants to participate. Bars like Lustre Pearl East, Barrel O’ Fun in the Alamo Mueller, Backbeat and Weather Up are participating. For a full list of their literature-inspired tipples, check out Tuesday’s Planner in the Statesman. Various times Aug. 14-18. Free.
