Incendonet Announces the Release of SpeechBridge 7.0 With Natural Language

Incendonet, Inc., a leading provider of Communications Automation solutions for the enterprise, today announced the immediate availability of SpeechBridge 7.0. This release brings major new capabilities and refinements to the platform, including:

  • Natural Language Understanding: SpeechBridge can now understand callers’ requests when spoken naturally, in their own words. This means that your application can have more open-ended prompts, like “How can I help you today?”
  • Dictation: Also known as speech-to-text, this capability opens a whole new category of SpeechBridge applications where a word-for-word transcription is required.
  • Bug fixes and performance improvements

Some of the benefits of these new capabilities include: letting callers speak as they would normally, reducing the number of menus per transaction, and shortening the overall length of most calls.

“As consumers grow more accustomed to using natural language with their personal technology, they are expecting the same experience in their B2C and B2B interactions”, said Bryan Ayers, CTO at Incendonet. “SpeechBridge 7 seamlessly combines the best of both natural language querying with context driven speech recognition.”

Applications running in SpeechBridge 7 can easily and seamlessly switch from natural language for open-ended queries, to context-specific grammars for high accuracy transactions, to dictation for transcription or note-taking. All in standard VoiceXML, JavaScript, and C#. Check our GitHub repos for sample applications and more: https://github.com/incendonet/
