18 August Dunedin

21 August Whangarei

23 August Tauranga

30 August Palmerston North

National Language
Advisers and Teacher Development Advisers will be delivering
one-day curriculum support roadshows that focus on best
practice and pedagogy for teaching and learning languages in
Aotearoa. Teachers themselves have had input into the
content in each location resulting in a variety of workshops
reaching from ‘E-learning – 21st century skills in the
language classroom’ to ‘Differentiation in the language
classroom’ and ‘Using songs in the junior languages
classroom’.

During the roadshow, overseas government

organisations such as the AsiaNZ Foundation, Alliance
Française and importantly New Zealand university language
departments are offering their support and collaboration.
Government and other political representatives have also
