“Ärynnhart” was released June 13 and is available for purchase through various e-book retailers — including Amazon, Apple iBooks, Barnes & Noble, Google Play and Kobo — for $3.99. At 221-pages, Guffey calls “Ärynnhart” supernatural adventure fiction.

The novel follows Lily Ärynnhart, who is about to embark on an overseas trip with her friends after graduating from college. He graduated from Sand Creek High School in 2011 and Chicago’s DePaul University in 2015, majoring in computer game development with a minor in screenwriting. After college, he decided to stay in Chicago to work as an independent video game developer and voice-acting director.

“Ärynnhart” came out of the the challenge of National Novel Writing Month, where participants throughout the country dedicate themselves to spending the month of November writing a novel. If the participants complete the goals of the challenge, their novel is published as an e-book by pronoun.com — an independent e-book publisher associated with Macmillan Publishers.
